The American Association of Orthopaedic Executives (AAOE) was developed specifically for the advancement of orthopaedic practice executives.  AAOE recognizes that our members need timely and topical information.  AAOE offers many benefits for our members and they may be accessed in our Member Services area.

Peer-to-Peer Online Membership Directory 

Find peers in similar practice environments across the country.  The Peer Finder lists AAOE members' addresses, phone and fax numbers, e-mail (if available) and practice information. You may search by last name, practice, state, and group size. There is also an option to print the directory in full.

Orthopaedic Practice Benchmarking Survey

Have the ability to compare your practice statistics with similar practices across the country, with yearly updates.

Practice Management Center

Access to AAOS lectures, products, tips, articles, company resource directory, and more.

AAOE List Serve

Real time text interaction with peers for questions, thoughts, opinions, and more.  The AAOE List Serve is a private networking tool where members can voice their opinions about practice management issues. The benefit of using the List Serve is that members can feed off a previous "thread" and participate anytime by allowing users to post questions or comments to an open forum. As other members respond a thread is created, allowing all users to follow along the thread of conversation.

An online resource of useful documents, forms, and templates that you can customize for your practice. 

AAOE Leaders in Practice Success (ALPS) Program

The ALPS Program unites experienced executives (Mentors) with new ones (Apprentices). Mentors provide guidance and insight to assist the Apprentice in their personal and professional growth, development and education. Through the ALPS Program, Mentors and Apprentices enhance their abilities and increase the skills necessary to successfully conduct the day-to-day management of an orthopaedic practice.
