Misty has 11 years of experience in a healthcare office setting. Over 6 years of that experience is in detailed aging reports and coding and billing, obtaining the CPC in 2018 and COSC in 2022. She serves as a subject matter expert and freelance author for AAPC. She has also been a
guest blogger on medical coding for Rivet, a healthcare software company. As well as a virtual speaker to several AAPC chapters and
previously served as the vice president of the Lexington, KY AAPC chapter.
Anne Marie Webb, CPC, CPB, CPMA
Bluegrass Orthopedics
AnneMarie is a dedicated and skilled certified medical coder with over eight years of specialized experience in orthopaedics for Bluegrass Orthopaedics. With more than 17 years in the healthcare industry, AnneMarie has built a diverse career, starting at the
front desk and progressing through various roles such as precertification, worker compensation, coding, and billing. In 2016, AnneMarie earned her CPC, CPB in 2020, and then CPMA in 2022.
AnneMarie has also contributed to the medical coding community, writing an article for AAPC's monthly magazine. AnneMarie has been actively volunteering for AAPC local
chapters in Lexington, KY, for the past three years, serving as Treasurer and Secretary for 2 years and now President for the upcoming year. Beyond work, AnneMarie leads a fulfilling personal life. Married for 16 years, AnneMarie and her spouse are the proud parents of a 13-year-old daughter who is deeply involved in extracurricular activities. Their daughter participates in musical
theatre, honor band, archery, and debate. The family also shares their home with two beloved rescue dogs, who bring joy and companionship to their daily lives.
