The AAOE Learning Center is your resource for mastering orthopedic practice management, offering a range of educational opportunities including webinars, online courses, conference recordings, and certificate programs. Topics include coding, compliance, revenue cycle management, leadership, and more. Access courses using your AAOE credentials or create a non-member account for free. Casting and Splinting
- Gain quick, cost-effective online training for on-boarding new staff with easy dashboard management, documented completion, and a range of casting and splinting courses. Members: $200; Non-Members: $400.
Customer Service 101
- Access the on-demand "Customer Service 101" course by creating a login, registering, and paying. The course includes 11 modules on essential customer service skills, each with an instructional video, PDF guide, interactive activities, and quizzes. Completion of all modules and a final exam earns a certificate.
Orthopedic Practice Management
- This redesigned online course, ideal for new orthopedic practice managers, covers essential topics in 8 concise modules. Starting in 2024, groups of 5 or more members get unlimited access to this course and "Customer Service 101" as part of their membership. For questions, contact education@aaoe.net.
Orthopedic Practice Ownership Models
- Explore key topics on maintaining independence versus partnerships in orthopedic practices. Access recordings for free as an AAOE member, or for a small fee as a non-member. Series includes: Mergers and Hospitals, Private Equity and PSA, and Independent Practices & Joint Ventures.

Achieve AAOE Certified HIPAA Compliance Professional (O-CHCP) certification through our online, self-paced course, designed for orthopedic officers and administrators. Learn HIPAA essentials and regulatory updates from HHS, CMS, OCR, DOJ, and NIST. The program is updated annually, with re-certification required each year. Registration fees are $399 for members and $499 for non-members, with certification costs at $99 for members and $199 for non-members.
