Event Details

Durable Medical Equipment Operations and Management Certificate

The Athletic Trainers in the Physician Practice Society (ATPPS) and the American Alliance of Orthopaedic Executives (AAOE) have partnered to create a Durable Medical Equipment Operations and Management certificate course for athletic trainers. The course will consist of 10 on-demand modules of thirty to sixty minutes each, covering the basics of managing DME in a physician practice. The certificate culminates in a hands-on module to be conducted in February at the ATPPS conference. Attendees in the hands-on module will be able to work with a variety of different products under the supervision of DME company representatives.

To earn the certificate, you must complete both the online modules, available in early/mid January, and the in-person workshop on Thursday, Feb. 20, 2025 in Louisville, KY (or the workshop to be held at the 2026 conference). The price of the certificate includes registration for the workshop.

Pricing:

Member Price: $399, which includes the in-person workshop at the Annual Conference (ATPPS & AAOE members)
Non-member price: $499

Registration for this course will be open on January 16th, 2025.

Note: If you are a member of ATPPS and would like to register for this course, please email Katie Bradley at kbradley@aaoe.net. She will verify your membership and set up the member pricing for registering.
