This one-hour webinar will provide musculoskeletal and orthopedic practice professionals with a comprehensive overview of integrating AI into your practice/department's clinical and business workflows. Participants will explore foundational concepts, practical applications, and potential challenges associated with using generative AI tools. Attendees will learn what to watch out for as they implement AI into their practice/department, and will receive an outline of what should go into your AI policy. This session will empower attendees to incorporate AI into their business office and clinic workflows responsibly, efficiently, and ethically while maintaining a human-centered approach.

By the end of this session, participants will be able to:
- Understand common AI terms and concepts, including generative AI, large language models, and natural language processing, to contextualize AI's role in the business office.
- Identify key opportunities for leveraging AI tools, such as creating content, analyzing data, and optimizing workflows, while mitigating risks like bias and inaccuracies.
- Develop or refine organization-wide policies for ethical AI use.
- Evaluate the cultural and strategic implications of AI integration, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Dr. Catherine Lada, CAE is a Certified Association Executive with 20 years of experience in the nonprofit sector. She has successfully launched and grown dozens of new association products and services as well as brands, teams, departments, and organizations. Cathy is highly focused on making the member experience enjoyable and efficient across all touchpoints.
She combines this focus along with skill in usability design and deep knowledge of marketing to create product road maps and integrated marketing, branding, communications, and sales strategies that get real business results. At her last association, Cathy led the charge in creating, launching, and marketing a new tech-enabled product, surpassing key performance indicators from 27 to 58 percent within just a few months. The marketing team she launched at a privately held multi-million-dollar company led to 13% growth. Cathy has also taught marketing, advertising, communications, entrepreneurship, ethics, strategy, and operations at the undergraduate level. She is currently an adjunct professor in the graduate integrated marketing communications program at West Virginia University.

Scott drove the direction of IT to modern standards while responsibly managing costs. He is responsible for data security, direction, development and support of clinical and financial applications, data analysis, processes/workflow, training, technology infrastructure and communications.
Prior to joining Signature, Scott worked ten years in information technology consulting providing software development and IT management and direction for healthcare and other organizations in St. Louis and Nashville. Scott holds a BS in Management Information Systems from the University of Missouri, St. Louis. +
