Ms. Carey's practice spans the health care landscape, with a particular focus on regulatory compliance, reimbursement and related health care issues. She provides clients with practical and value-additive counsel, leveraging her extensive legal experience and background working at managed-care organizations to offer key insights into developing best reimbursement practices. She regularly works with various health care providers, from independent practitioners and start-ups to large health systems, long-term care providers, and substance abuse treatment and behavioral health providers. 

 

Cathy Lada, D.Sc., CAE

Dr. Catherine Lada, CAE is a Certified Association Executive with 20 years of experience in the nonprofit sector. She has successfully launched and grown dozens of new association products and services as well as brands, teams, departments, and organizations. Cathy is highly focused on making the member experience enjoyable and efficient across all touchpoints.

She combines this focus along with skill in usability design and deep knowledge of marketing to create product road maps and integrated marketing, branding, communications, and sales strategies that get real business results. At her last association, Cathy led the charge in creating, launching, and marketing a new tech-enabled product, surpassing key performance indicators from 27 to 58 percent within just a few months. The marketing team she launched at a privately held multi-million-dollar company led to 13% growth. Cathy has also taught marketing, advertising, communications, entrepreneurship, ethics, strategy, and operations at the undergraduate level. She is currently an adjunct professor in the graduate integrated marketing communications program at West Virginia University.

She resides in the Washington, DC metro area.
