In order to fully utilize operational benchmarks for orthopedics, including revenue, expenses, compensation, overhead, productivity, and accounts receivable, you have to have an understanding of your practice’s data and performance in these key areas. The process of completing the benchmarking survey provides you with this understanding as you work to pull reports and analyze the data needed to finalize your submission. Once the benchmarking results are published, the ability to directly compare your practice’s performance to that of other orthopedic practices gives you the ability to put the results into action. This panel of orthopedic practice professionals and physicians will discuss how they have used benchmarking data within their practices to inform decisions and improve their performance.
