Jeana Singleton

Jeana Singleton has a national healthcare law practice focusing on healthcare operational matters, including state and federal regulatory compliance, healthcare transactions, healthcare policy, public health initiatives, corporate law, and business-legal strategy. Jeana’s depth of experience on a wide range of healthcare matters provides the knowledge and skill necessary to help her clients navigate complex legal issues in a highly complex industry on matters that impact their business performance.
Jeana is licensed in Ohio, Michigan, Tennessee and Kentucky. Luis Argueso
Partner, InHealth Advisors
Luis is a national subject matter expert regarding professional services arrangements between hospitals and medical groups specializing in hospital-based service lines, such as anesthesiology, emergency medicine, hospitalist medicine, and intensive care medicine. He assists InHealth’s clients in developing programs that align hospital-based provider groups and facilities in value-based initiatives through targeting industry-leading quality measures and operationalizing efficient staffing models.
Beyond this guidance, Luis assists clients in developing tools and other solutions that allow for operationalization of value-based alignment strategies. In addition, as a subject matter expert in telemedicine service lines, Luis provides advisory services to InHealth clients in selecting and implementing successful virtual programs. These services include assessing service lines for telemedicine integration, program design, vendor selection, and value benchmarking. In particular, Luis has experience in evaluating the use of telemedicine in rural and underserved markets, as well as extensive work with direct-to-consumer digital health service offerings.
Other expertise includes physician needs assessments, regional economic analyses (including impact assessments), and best practices for rural and underserved markets.
Jim Carr
Partner, InHealth Advisors
Jim leads InHealth’s work related to structuring, implementing, and valuing provider integration models for clinic-based specialties and navigating the transition to participation in advanced value-based contracting models. Jim is a frequent presenter and author on matters pertaining to physician alignment models and provider compensation. He also possesses extensive experience serving as an expert in disputes and investigations involving physician compensation matters.
His industry experience includes development of joint-venture ASCs, outpatient clinics/procedure areas, provider “lease” arrangements, and provider contracting. Prior to founding InHealth, Jim was a partner with a national healthcare valuation firm, where he served as managing partner of the firm’s Colorado office. Jim previously served as the Director of Finance and Controller of a large academic medical center, where he led the financial analysis, planning, and operations functions for seven business units.
He began his career serving with NASA as an engineer in the Space Shuttle and International Space Station programs. Jim earned a Master’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the Jones Graduate School of Business at Rice University and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Tennessee.
Jim offers InHealth’s clients guidance in designing provider integration models that ensure alignment with their organization’s operational and financial goals, as well as optimize the organization’s performance in value-based payment programs. He assists organizations in developing the strategies and entities needed for participation in advanced value-based contracting programs, including Value-Based Enterprises, Accountable Care Organizations, and Clinically Integrated Networks
