JoAnn Reis

For past 14 years, JoAnn Reis has been serving as the CEO of OrthoCincy Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine. She started in healthcare working in direct patients care for nine years as a radiology technologist and radiation therapist. While she was working in healthcare, she obtained her MHSA from Xavier University. Following her administrative residency, she worked in medical staff development and practice management at Jewish Hospital. Then she moved into the for-profit sector, managing and developing ambulatory surgery centers and small surgical hospitals in the Midwest.

She has helped changed the face of OrthoCincy into the largest independent orthopaedic surgery and sports medicine practice in the tristate. OrthoCincy’s expansion has included adding physicians from Wellington Orthopaedics and a group in Louisville called Ortho Louisville. The practice has grown to 52 musculoskeletal physicians and 35 mid-levels. The practice has 15 office sites which are located in Kentucky, Ohio and Indiana. The group provides over 500,000 services annually to patients with musculoskeletal needs. She serves on numerous committees and boards professionally and in the community. JoAnn is a board member with the OrthoForum, Health Collaborative, Independent Physicians Collaborative and Bayley Place.
