AAOE Contracted to Provide Professional Management Services

for the Athletic Trainers in the Physician Practice Society (ATPPS)

INDIANAPOLIS, IN – The American Alliance of Orthopaedic Executives (AAOE) has partnered with the Athletic Trainers in the Physician Practice Society (ATPPS) to provide administrative support. ATPPS is the leading advocate for athletic trainers in a physician practice setting, providing education and resources to improve patient care and their experience. AAOE’s partnership with allied organizations helps identify and leverage synergies that improve the member benefits and experience across the board.

ATPPS chose AAOE for their documented and proven association management knowledge and experience in serving their members, sales, partnerships, relationship building, and education. AAOE also has many athletic trainers among their membership, proving a path to leadership for athletic trainers in a physician practice. Through AAOE, ATPPS can reach athletic trainers within the AAOE membership to grow their own membership and conference attendance.

“ATPPS has come a long way since November 2017 when we founded our society. With the rapid growth of ATPPS and being run by an all volunteer group we knew we couldn’t keep up to meet the future needs of our membership. Through past experiences with AAOE and discussions on where we want to grow we feel confident that this partnership with AAOE can get us there” said Mike Doyle MBA ATC ATPPS President and Vice President of Orthopedic Services for Heartland Orthopedic Specialists.

“AAOE is excited to work with ATPPS on growing their membership, their conference, and their education. There are a lot of opportunities to partner and build strong relationships and we look forward to that,” said Michael Behr, MD, MBA, AAOE President and Medical Director for OrthoAtlanta.
