Hire the Best – And KEEP THEM! - Cultivating Staff Retention

The most impactful way to strengthen your practice? Once we find those stellar applicants- we want to keep them! Your culture is determined by your best players, and we are more aware of the greatest employees sometimes right in front of us! Have you asked your staff what it would take for them to leave your practice? Is there room to grow? Can they depend upon their job being there in a year?
There are recruiting and retention techniques that work! And no one knows your practice better than you. There is an art to reading between the lines of a résumé and checking references. And where you sit and how you read body language can make all the difference in an interview.
A proven example of retention that enhances engagement? Take their “Emotional Temperature”. These experience-based queries are easy to implement with a common-sense approach. It’s about respecting others, having their say while managing the hierarchy and practice dynamics.
As we all deal with the return to the office management, hybrid arrangements are becoming the norm whenever possible. We can create a balance of staff and duties that create a symphony of care with staff that want to be a part of it!
