Vendor Demos without the Pressure
As a practice administrator, you're likely evaluating new products/services (ex. EHR, RCM, etc.) throughout the year, and in the early stages of that evaluation, you may not be ready to meet with a sales rep, but you'd still like to check out a demo and possibly ask a few questions in a low-pressure environment.
AAOE staff recently had this need when looking for a new learning management platform. The association we belong to hosts monthly virtual Demo Days specific to different product categories.
In these live events, members attend short company demos with group Q&A time and can "drop off a business card" if interested in further discussions. Those who register can also access the demo session recordings for a short time after the event. The key is, vendors don’t get your contact information – unless you provide it.
The process was so helpful to our buying process that we wondered if AAOE members would also find it useful. We conducted a quick poll in November and the result was, yes! Members would find it valuable.
